Revolut Global HQ, London

The problem: Revolut's new global headquarters in Canary Wharf spans 113,000 square feet across four floors, making it London's largest ever design-and-build office project. The brief wasn't just about noise control. It was about creating a workplace that genuinely draws people in: somewhere that supports deep focus, energetic collaboration, and social connection, often within the same floor. That kind of variety demands a carefully zoned acoustic strategy. Without it, open-plan areas become fatiguing, meeting rooms lose privacy, and the overall sense of the space suffers. The design vision was bold; the acoustics needed to match it.

Our solution

Resonics collaborated with AIS Interiors to supply and install bespoke acoustic solutions across Revolut’s new global headquarters.

The approach was built around how people actually use the space. A 113,000 sq ft headquarters isn’t one acoustic environment — it’s many. Open-plan floors, focus zones, high-energy social areas, formal meeting rooms, and a large auditorium all have different acoustic requirements. Treating them the same way would have meant compromising all of them.

Open-plan areas: In the main open-plan floors, the priority was controlling reverberation before it builds up. Ceiling baffles were suspended to absorb sound energy at the source — reducing the cumulative noise that makes large, busy offices feel overwhelming. Silent Space SilentRafts were positioned above breakout and focus zones, creating quieter pockets within the open floor without the need for physical partitions.

Auditorium: The auditorium presented a different challenge: a large space prone to echo and sound build-up. NOWN Trisoft ceiling tiles were specified here, an architectural product that performs as well as it looks, reducing reverberation while maintaining the desired finish of the space required.

Meeting rooms: For meeting rooms, acoustic performance and visual quality needed to work together. Tenso Wall stretched fabric panels were chosen for their seamless finish and consistent absorption, keeping conversations in the room and distractions out, without adding visual noise to spaces that need to feel calm and professional.

The combined ceiling, wall, and raft strategy delivered:

  • Controlled reverberation across open-plan and social zones
  • Improved speech clarity in meeting rooms and focus areas
  • Acoustically distinct zones without physical barriers
  • A consistent aesthetic across all four floors

The Outcome

The result is a headquarters that performs as well as it looks.

Each zone, from quiet focus areas to high-energy social spaces, has the acoustic conditions it needs to function at its best. For a company like Revolut, whose office is a direct expression of its brand, that matters. Sound shapes how a space feels. At Revolut’s HQ, people have an environment that gives them every reason to do their best work.
