The problem: Lloyds Banking Group required a large-scale acoustic upgrade within its central London office, spanning over 50 meeting rooms as well as tea points and breakout areas. The challenge was to deliver a solution that was consistent, effective, and easily repeatable across multiple floors.
Our solution
A layered acoustic strategy was implemented to address both speech clarity and reverberation control across a variety of spaces.
Within meeting rooms, Autex Groove acoustic panels were introduced to manage sound reflections, improving clarity and reducing overall reverberation time.
In the breakout area, Autex Frontier Beams were installed above the kitchen to control noise levels and maintain comfort in busy environments. Over the reception space, Autex Lattice Baffles were used to limit noise transfer within this shared space.
This combination of wall and ceiling treatments ensured:
- Consistent acoustic performance across multiple rooms and floors
- Improved speech intelligibility in meeting environments
- Effective noise control in high-traffic communal areas
