The problem: Like most village halls, Medstead Village Hall faced a familiar acoustic challenge: hard flooring, exposed walls and generous ceiling height combined to create a room that held onto sound far longer than it should have. Reverberation built up quickly, speech became blurred and conversations took real effort to follow.
