The problem: At Bishopstoke Park Retirement Village, the restaurant wasn't only for diners but also doubled as a space where residents socialise, watch films and enjoy live performances. But a lack of sound-absorbing material meant noise was building up, making conversations difficult and the space acoustically uncomfortable. Having heard the results of a similar project we'd completed at their sister site, the client got in touch to ask whether we could survey, advise and quote a solution.
Our solution
We worked closely with the team to understand how the space was being used before proposing a treatment plan.
