The problem: As part of a new office fit-out at 14 Hewett Street, the meeting rooms needed acoustic performance designed in from the outset rather than retrofitted later. Left untreated, the hard surfaces typical of a modern fit-out would have left these spaces prone to echo and poor speech clarity, a risk for rooms built around conversation and concentration.

A combined wall and ceiling treatment was specified to tackle reverberation at its source.
Impact Acoustic Archisonic panels were specified for the walls, softening sound reflections and giving each room a clearer, more controlled acoustic environment. For the ceiling, Impact Acoustic baffles were added to manage reverberation across the full volume of the room, not just at ear level.
