Winslow Public Hall
The problem: High-ceilinged halls like Winslow Public Hall are especially prone to echo and reverberation, with sound waves bouncing around and creating a distracting “booming” effect. This made it difficult for audiences to clearly hear speakers or enjoy performances, undermining the hall’s role as a community hub. The challenge was to provide effective sound absorption without compromising the venue’s newly refurbished aesthetic.

Our solution
Resonics specified and installed over 60 SilentRaft Class A acoustic panels. Suspended from the ceiling using wire hangers, the panels were strategically positioned to reduce reverberation and deliver high-performance sound absorption across a broad frequency range. Their fabric-wrapped finish allowed them to integrate seamlessly into the hall’s interior design.

The Outcome
The installation transformed Winslow Public Hall into a more acoustically balanced and versatile space.
Echo and reverberation were dramatically reduced, improving speech clarity and sound quality for all types of events. With its improved acoustics and preserved aesthetic, the hall is now a comfortable and functional environment, better serving the needs of its community.
