The problem: A newly renovated domestic property, the open-plan living room was being used as a children's playroom, music room, and relaxation space. With little/ no natural diffusion, the noise in the space was overwhelming, disrupting its functionality as a multi-purpose room.
Our solution
With noise reverberating around the room and walls at significant distances apart, we installed a Tenso 50mm track system on one key wall in the living space. Covering one key reflection point with absorptive material makes it difficult for noise to bounce off adjacent surfaces. There’s no need to cover a whole room in sound absorption.

The Outcome
The installation of Tenso acoustic panels reduced the reverberation time of the room from over 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds, a significant improvement.
The owners have been thrilled with the installation, remarking on the improvement of sound and the way the panels have blended visually into the space, adding warmth to the living space.
