Mosaic East, London
The problem: Mosaic East’s office in Croydon underwent an extensive refurbishment, with a mix of meeting rooms and open-plan areas, controlling noise transfer and ensuring clear communication were key priorities in supporting day-to-day working and wellbeing.
Our solution
Resonics was engaged to design and install a tailored acoustic solution, working in partnership with Magenta Projects.
Meeting Rooms
In the meeting rooms, Tenso Print, a custom-printed stretched-fabric acoustic system, was installed to deliver excellent sound absorption while allowing complete design freedom. These bespoke installations transformed plain surfaces into striking visual features, improving speech clarity and reducing reverberation to support productive meetings.
Open-Plan Tea Point
In the open-plan tea point area, SilentSpace acoustic rafts were installed on the ceiling to minimise sound transfer into the adjacent workspace. This allowed the area to function as a social hub where people can communicate freely, without creating distractions for those working nearby.
The Outcome
Throughout the project, Resonics’ expertise ensured each acoustic solution was carefully designed and precisely installed, allowing the products to perform at their best while coordinating smoothly with other on-site trades.
The completed acoustic treatments reduce noise transfer in open areas, enhance clarity in meeting rooms and contribute to a comfortable working environment that supports different ways of working.
