Draughts Waterloo
The problem: Draughts Bar in Waterloo is a lively restaurant and social space where sound levels can quickly build during busy periods. With its open layout and hard surfaces, managing noise levels presented a significant challenge. The goal was to reduce noise while preserving the welcoming atmosphere.
Room Type: Restaurants and Bars
Location: London
Our solution
Resonics installed a series of Silent Space Rafts and Silent Space Printed Wall Panels to deliver both acoustic control and aesthetic appeal.
Silent Space Rafts
Suspended acoustic rafts were strategically placed across the ceiling, providing high-performance sound absorption while blending seamlessly into the interior design. These panels effectively reduce reverberation, creating a calmer, more comfortable atmosphere even during peak times.
Printed Wall Panels
To complement the venue’s design, bespoke Silent Space Printed Panels were installed along walls. These panels combine branding with acoustic performance, enhancing both the look and feel of the restaurant.
The Outcome
The acoustic treatments have transformed the sound environment within Draughts Bar, significantly reducing background noise and echo.
Throughout the project, Resonics ensured each element was installed with precision and attention to detail, working closely with the client to maintain the venue’s visual identity. The result is a more comfortable and enjoyable setting for both guests and staff, as well as a space that feels vibrant yet acoustically balanced.
