Project Details
The Problem
As part of a major refurbishment of LinkedIn’s London offices, Resonics was contacted to provide acoustic solutions to meeting and break-out rooms across five floors.
With a combination of glass partitioning, plasterboard and brick walling – the space required acoustic treatments to create comfortable environments for LinkedIn employees and clients.
The meeting rooms were to include audio visual equipment, meaning it was essential that a high quality sound absorption system was installed in order to facilitate proper speech intelligibility and ensure call clarity in meetings.
The Solution
Working closely alongside Denton Associates, we installed our Fabric Wall system across five floors.
The project brief was to “bring Linkedin in line with…their other worldwide offices in terms of creativity and fun…whilst giving visitors and staff a typically British feel”.
This culminated in each floor having its own theme, ranging from music to literature, sport and food.
To accommodate these themes, we used our Print Wall system. Using the latest print head technology, we were able to deliver thematically printed fabric walls with Class A acoustic cores.
Carried out in a tight time frame and with minimum disruption, the installation progressed across five stages to ensure the operation of the offices was not compromised.
The Result
By using our Print Wall system, we were able to help deliver themed meeting and break out spaces to the project brief.
The fully customisable system accommodated all wall services vital to the operation of audio visual equipment in the meeting rooms.
The result was over 30 rooms with discreet, Class A acoustic systems that are creative, stimulating and fun.
