The Problem
Acoustically untreated meeting rooms and telepresence rooms meant that speech intelligibility and privacy was suffering in the offices for this large pharmaceutical company.
Resonics was called in to provide a comprehensive acoustic solution that reduced echo, absorbed excessive noise and reduced noise transfer between cordoned areas.
The Solution
The solution had to mix room functionality with aesthetics.
Our bespoke Fabric Wall solution for the telepresence and meeting rooms allowed acoustics to be installed around video-conferencing televisions. The pin-board capabilities of Fabric Wall added extra functionality to the meeting rooms.
A full acoustic ceiling from Ecophon was also installed, adding additional absorption and preventing noise transfer between adjacent meeting rooms.
The Result
The inclusion of a comprehensive sound absorbing system in this network of meeting rooms has allowed the spaces to be used for their original purpose.
Noise transfer between the rooms has been facilitated through the inclusion of an acoustic ceiling system. Our Fabric Wall system has helped speech privacy and call clarity for the telepresence rooms, while blending in discreetly to the existing aesthetic of the spaces.
