The Problem

Housing intensive packaging machines, and with a highly reverberant corrugated iron ceiling, the acoustics at Anson Packaging in Sutton were particularly harsh pre-treatment.

Accommodating dozens of warehouse workers – it was essential for Anson to reduce the amount of noise bouncing around the warehouse, for employee comfort and safety.

The Solution

We installed over 600 Class A acoustic absorbers from Ecophon. The panels were installed between the ceiling and the unistrut so as not to obstruct the warehouse’s comprehensive sprinkler system.

The Result

The vast amount of sound absorption installed in the warehouse has ensured that the warehouse will be an acoustically comfortable space for its workers – effectively negating the high levels of environmental noise generated by the factory’s machinery.
